Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain general ledgers for multiple clients
Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
Prepare and review monthly financial statements for clients
Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements
Prepare audit schedules and assist with audits as needed
Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting needs and provide tailored solutions
Assist in implementing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of public accounting or relevant experience at a Big 4 or large accounting firm
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
CPA-eligible or currently working towards CPA certification
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
Strong ability to manage client relationships independently and proactively
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and handling seasonal workloads, particularly during year-end and tax season
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both clients and team members
Highly organized, able to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Detail-oriented and analytical, with a keen ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
