Responsibilities
Deliver an integrated view of insights across brands and therapeutic areas, covering resource allocation, marketing mix measurement, channel optimization, digital analytics, predictive modeling, and decision engines/Next Best Action
Shape the analytics agenda for US Commercial, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes
Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models, predictive algorithms, NLP solutions, and AI‑powered tools that drive commercial strategy and execution
Continuously evaluate and enhance data science capabilities, identifying opportunities to modernize, automate, and scale analytical solutions
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists and AI specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and excellence
Build external partnerships—including academic collaborations—to bring cutting‑edge research and emerging techniques into the organization
Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling insights that influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners
Guide stakeholders through interpretation, activation, and integration of insights into commercial planning and decision‑making
Deliver consolidated, actionable recommendations to US Commercial teams, ensuring insights drive measurable impact
Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets for analytics and AI initiatives
Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of data‑driven solutions
Ensure compliance with data privacy, security standards, and governance frameworks
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in advanced analytics within US commercial settings, ideally in biotech/pharma or top-tier management consulting
Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field (advanced degree preferred)
Demonstrated ability to translate data science outputs into business recommendations that influence resource allocation, marketing mix optimization, omnichannel strategy, and digital engagement
Deep expertise with SQL and NoSQL data environments, including large-scale distributed systems (Hadoop) and modern cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)
Strong proficiency in machine learning, big data technologies, Python, R, and modern data visualization techniques
Proven leadership experience building, developing, and inspiring high-performing analytics teams
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and strategic problem-solving skills
Preferred
Advanced degree in engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field
