Responsibilities
Maintain, modify, and install aircraft sheet metal and composite components
Fabricate and rework complex structural assemblies
Use precision measuring devices to ensure quality standards
Perform inspections and maintain accurate work records
Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
Qualification
Required
Mechanical experience required, including the use of drills, pneumatic tools, and hand tools
Must be able to demonstrate comfort level and competency using them
High School Diploma or GED
Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd shift upon completion of class
Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Frequent use of hands for various tasks
Standing, walking, reaching, and stooping regularly
Maintain steady hand-eye coordination
Ability to reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions
Effective communication skills and ability to hear
