Responsibilities
Ensure company's EHS policies comply with local, state & federal regulations
Identify applicable Health & Safety regulations & risks while interacting with cross functional teams
Provide leadership to the company with Process Safety Management programs, procedures, trainings etc
Investigate & analyze near misses, accidents, injuries & incident trends, and assist in the root cause analysis process
Participate in the company's health & safety audits
Work with outside vendors to manage cost & inventory
Coach & develop others to ensure organizational success, identify talent and provide opportunities to learn & grow
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in safety, occupational health, public health industrial hygiene or another safety related field
5 years of experience leading safety teams
Demonstrated experience in the application of Health & Safety Management systems
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
Tech Savvy: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office skills, safety systems, Adobe, cloud ERP programs like Oracle and safety systems
Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), First Aid/CPR
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
