Responsibilities
Set the enterprise strategy for leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and capability building across all levels of the organization
Define and evolve Arhaus’s leadership philosophy, competencies, and development framework, ensuring alignment with business priorities and cultural pillars
Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, change, and organizational design
Architect and oversee best-in-class learning journeys, curriculum, and experiences that support both individual growth and enterprise capability needs
Ensure learning solutions are grounded in organizational diagnostics, business insight, and future skill requirements—not generic programming
Curate and evolve a dynamic learning ecosystem that integrates live experiences, digital content, coaching, and experiential learning
Lead and support the full vision for onboarding - including orientations, support leader integrations, and all experiences that shape an associate’s first moments with Arhaus
Partner cross-functionally to ensure every touchpoint reflects our values, high standards, and commitment to a best-in-class associate experience
Oversee learning technologies, platforms, and tools to ensure seamless delivery and access
Establish meaningful metrics, KPIs, and ROI frameworks to measure and communicate program effectiveness
Drive career pathing, skills mapping, and capability development in partnership with HR
Establish and own the enterprise standard for internal communications related to leadership development, learning, and organizational initiatives
Shape the associate narrative by translating strategy into clear, compelling, and culturally resonant communication
Partner with HR, Marketing, and business leaders to ensure messaging is aligned, consistent, and thoughtfully timed
Ensure learning and leadership communications reflect a high taste level in content, design, and storytelling, reinforcing what makes Arhaus special
Create frameworks and rhythms for communication that support change, growth, and engagement—not just information delivery
Partner with Talent, HR, and business leaders to understand capability needs, align learning strategies, and support enterprise-wide initiatives
Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee selection, customization, and implementation of external learning solutions
Stay current with emerging trends and bring forward innovative, creative approaches to development
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience leading organizational development, leadership development, or enterprise learning strategies, ideally in a premium retail, lifestyle, or high-growth environment
7+ years of people leadership experience with a proven ability to coach, influence, and inspire at senior levels
Deep expertise in leadership frameworks, organizational diagnostics, assessments, change management, and capability development
Demonstrated ability to design and scale curriculum and development experiences that are both creative and business-relevant
Exceptional executive presence, storytelling, and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Strong creative sensibility and high taste level for content, experience design, and internal communications
Highly strategic yet hands-on—able to move seamlessly from vision-setting to execution
Strong program management, judgment, and ability to navigate complexity in a growing enterprise
