5+ years expAvetixCyber is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Penetration Tester to join a scaling cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will conduct penetration tests, perform vulnerability assessments, and provide actionable insights to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Responsibilities
Conduct internal and external penetration tests on networks, applications, APIs, and cloud environments
Perform vulnerability assessments and exploit development where applicable
Simulate advanced attack chains and identify potential lateral-movement paths
Deliver detailed technical reports and high-level executive summaries
Work closely with security engineers, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective remediation
Participate in red team exercises , security research, and continuous improvement initiatives
Stay up to date with emerging threats, tools, and adversarial techniques
Qualification
Required
OSCP Certification
5-8+ years of hands-on penetration testing or red teaming experience
Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux internals, networking, and common security controls
Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, BloodHound, etc
Ability to manually exploit vulnerabilities beyond automated scans
Excellent report writing skills and ability to communicate technical findings
