Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable operational systems across clinical operations, patient experience, staffing, scheduling, vendor management, and logistics
Build SOPs, workflows, and performance dashboards that support growth without sacrificing quality
Ensure operational excellence in a detail-sensitive, regulated healthcare environment
Own day-to-day operations and resolve issues quickly as priorities shift
Anticipate operational bottlenecks and proactively solve them before they impact patients or staff
Make fast, high-quality decisions in a startup environment with incomplete information
Build and continuously refine systems for quality control, compliance support, and service consistency
Establish KPIs and reporting structures that drive accountability and execution
Reduce operational friction through thoughtful process design and automation where appropriate
Recruit, manage, and develop high-performing operational and clinical support teams
Set a culture of ownership, precision, responsiveness, and high standards
Be present, engaged, and hands-on with teams across locations
Support new service lines, locations, and strategic initiatives
Operationalize expansion plans quickly and responsibly
Travel regularly to support launches, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operational consistency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a COO, Head of Operations, or senior operations leader in: Startups or founder-led growth companies or Concierge medicine, healthcare, wellness, or other high-touch service businesses (strongly preferred)
Demonstrated success building systems and scaling operations from early-stage growth through expansion
Experience operating in regulated or compliance-aware environments
Extreme attention to detail paired with speed and decisiveness
Highly proactive, hands-on operating style, comfortable in the weeds
Strong ability to adapt quickly to changing organizational needs
Clear communicator who creates alignment and accountability
Organized, structured thinker who can bring order to complexity
Willingness and ability to travel regularly as part of the role
Flexible, growth-oriented mindset appropriate for a fast-moving organization
