Responsibilities
Conduct initial client consultations (in-person and virtual)
Provide clear, compassionate, and accurate legal guidance
Screen cases for potential immigration relief, including:
Family-based petitions
Asylum & humanitarian relief
Waivers
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
Prepare detailed consultation notes and legal recommendations
Stay up to date on immigration law and policy changes
Assist with training and mentoring paralegals or law clerks, as needed
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
1–2+ years of immigration law experience (consultations or casework)
Strong understanding of USCIS, EOIR, and federal court processes
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English
Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive
Highly organized with strong time-management skills
Preferred
Florida license preferred, not required
