LHH is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to hire a Manufacturing Process Engineer specializing in welding and fabrication. This role focuses on developing and enhancing manufacturing processes, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication and welding operations.

Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing process plans for new product introductions

Analyze workflow and design efficient equipment and workspace layouts with a safety‑first mindset

Create and maintain operational method sheets, work instructions, and process documentation

Collaborate with vendors for tooling and capital equipment; prepare justification documentation

Troubleshoot product and process issues and lead improvement initiatives

Improve tooling, gauging, materials, and services to support quality and productivity goals

Maintain accurate product standards and support cost‑reduction efforts

Conduct process studies and apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to enhance reliability and throughput

Identify ways to increase equipment utilization and optimize manufacturing flow

Provide operator training tied to new or improved processes

Apply FMEA concepts to relevant processes and tooling

Evaluate new equipment or technology for potential application

Support planning and scheduling teams with capacity analysis
