The role involves performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for apartment homes, as well as preparing vacant apartments for move-in and maintaining common areas and amenities.

Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for apartment homes
Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in (turns/make-readies)
Troubleshoot and repair:
HVAC systems
Electrical
Plumbing
Carpentry
Appliances
Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities
Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls (on-call rotation)
Track and manage maintenance supplies and inventory
Follow all safety, OSHA, and fair housing regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Previous maintenance experience required
HVAC experience required
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred
multifamily/apartment experience strongly preferred
EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
