Outside Sales Representative – Excavation,Grading & Paving (Door-to-Door & B2B,B2C)
Confidential company is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to help grow their grading and paving business. The role involves door-to-door prospecting and managing the full sales process from identifying opportunities to closing contracts.

Responsibilities
Door-to-door prospecting in residential and commercial areas to identify grading and paving opportunities
Speaking directly with homeowners, property managers, contractors, and business owners
Identifying surface issues such as drainage problems, asphalt failure, gravel needs, and site preparation opportunities
Presenting grading, paving, asphalt, and repair solutions clearly and confidently
Generating leads through cold outreach, site visits, referrals, and networking
Managing follow-ups, quotes, and customer relationships from first contact to signed contract
Executing territory strategies to consistently create new opportunities
Tracking leads, activity, and pipeline using CRM tools
Negotiating pricing and closing deals while setting clear expectations
Staying informed on local market conditions, competitors, and construction trends
Upselling additional services such as repairs, sealcoating, or future paving projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales, construction sales, or door-to-door sales
Understands that consistent activity produces predictable results
Comfortable handling rejection and staying motivated in a high-activity sales role (every no is that much closer to yes)
Excellent communication and closing skills
Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
Ability to work independently in the field and manage a territory
Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools
Preferred
Construction, grading, paving, landscaping, or service-based sales experience is a plus (training provided)
