New Grad, Entry LevelCompunnel Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician who will be responsible for assisting in the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines. The role involves engine disassembly, component cleaning, and detailed inspection to prepare parts for production.

Responsibilities
Assist in the teardown and disassembly of high-horsepower diesel engines
Clean, inspect, and prepare engine components for downstream production processes
Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials
Follow standard work instructions, process documentation, and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards)
Maintain required cycle times and engineering standards
Perform routine housekeeping, machine cleaning, and basic operator maintenance tasks
Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and address equipment issues
Remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed to meet production goals
Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards
Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards
Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations
Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Promote a safe, interdependent work environment
Correct hazards within scope and capability
Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices
Participate in required HSE training
Communicate effectively with assigned teams and support functions
Participate in training and personal development activities
Actively contribute to improvements in safety, quality, process efficiency, and material flow
Support team initiatives focused on continuous improvement and employee development
Qualification
Required
Automotive or diesel repair experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability
Experience using hand tools
Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Strong safety awareness and compliance
Production-oriented work experience in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education
Equivalent experience may be considered in accordance with applicable regulations
