Responsibilities
Analyze large volumes of data to develop accurate cost estimates
Research and stay current with market pricing for various technical specifications
Collaborate with multifunctional teams to gather input and assemble comprehensive bid packages
Review and interpret technical documents and RFQs to extract relevant information for unit rate bid sheets
Maintain organized records of all bid packages and ensure timely submission
Navigate project posting websites to identify and track potential bidding opportunities
Develop familiarity with technical drawings and specifications to support estimation accuracy
Serve as a liaison between business development and project teams, ensuring alignment and clarity on deliverables and milestones
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Excellent communication skills—able to clearly convey technical and pricing information to team members
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to technical specifications and industry standards
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bid documents
Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or estimating preferred
Familiarity with project posting platforms and solicitation processes is a plus
