Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analysis and simulations of aerospace systems and spacecraft components utilizing SolidWorks Simulation, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, or FEMAP
Utilize software tools such as Matlab and Mathematica to model and analyze mechanical systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop engineering solutions
Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Support the development and testing of new aerospace technologies and methodologies
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in engineering practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in aerospace or spacecraft engineering roles
Strong proficiency in Matlab and Mathematica for engineering analysis
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Eligibility for Security Clearance is required
