Responsibilities

Manage multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met
Oversee budgeting and cost estimation processes for HVAC projects
Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Maintain strong client relations, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with building codes and ASHRAE standards, implementing energy-efficient solutions where possible
Conduct commissioning processes to ensure systems operate according to design specifications
Solve problems and address issues that arise during project execution, implementing effective solutions
Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into building projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC project management

Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for projects
Demonstrated experience in scheduling and resource allocation
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and client relations abilities
Experience with contract negotiation and management
Thorough understanding of building codes and regulations
Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and ASHRAE standards
Familiarity with commissioning processes and construction management techniques
Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
