Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic business partner to the Executive Management Team, contributing financial insights for decision‑making and long‑term planning
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to the accounting team
Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting, and systems
Develop and implement best-in-class internal controls, policies, and procedures
Oversee day-to-day accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, inventory accounting, and fixed assets
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
Manage cost accounting processes and partner with operations to support manufacturing performance metrics
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements
Oversee annual audit activities and coordinate with external auditors
Maintain organized financial documentation and strengthen audit readiness
Utilize strong technological skills to improve accounting systems and increase automation
Leverage ERP and reporting tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Identify process gaps and implement sustainable solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with minimum eight (8) years' accounting experience
Proven leadership experience in accounting, ideally within the manufacturing industry
Strong general accounting and GAAP expertise
Track record of strategic business partnership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Demonstrated success leading and developing teams
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with stellar analytical skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Adept with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, SAP proficiency a plus
