Responsibilities

Collaborate with payroll administrators to compile and verify timekeeping records for payroll processing

Coordinate payroll activities across multiple divisions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Process payroll for a mix of union and non-union employees, including both hourly and salaried staff

Manage electronic timesheets on a weekly basis for approximately 1,200 employees

Handle multi-state payroll processing, adhering to state-specific regulations including California

Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws and certified payroll requirements

Utilize Excel and payroll systems to manage imports, analyze data, and generate reports

Communicate effectively with accounting team members and division representatives to resolve payroll-related issues

Maintain accurate records of garnishments and other deductions in accordance with legal standards

Support the overall payroll function to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Required

Proven experience in payroll processing, including multi-state payroll

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Dependable work ethic with a commitment to meeting deadlines
