Responsibilities
Lead the design development of K-12 educational projects from conceptual design through construction documentation
Ensure all designs comply with DSA regulations and guidelines
Collaborate with project teams to create innovative and sustainable design solutions
Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders effectively
Mentor junior designers and provide guidance throughout the design process
Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure design integrity during construction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture, specifically in K-12 educational design
Proficiency in Revit and other design software
Strong understanding of DSA guidelines and LEED certification processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred
LEED AP accreditation is preferred
NCARB certification is a plus
