Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all MEP construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to schedule and manage MEP installations
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all MEP activities, including daily logs, RFI responses, and change orders
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule constraints
Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and trade workers on best practices in MEP installation and safety protocols
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent in ground-up construction projects, preferably in multi-family and affordable housing sectors
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their installation processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
Proficiency in project management software and tools, with strong organizational skills
Preferred
Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or MEP trades are a plus
