Lead Direct Response Copywriter

Responsibilities

Write high-converting copy for landing pages, listicles, advertorials, product pages, and other acquisition assets
Create messaging that acquires new customers, re-converts existing ones, and increases lifetime value
Maintain consistent, clear messaging across organic content, paid media, email, and retargeting
Own and understand the full customer lifecycle from first touch to repeat purchase
Ensure messaging progresses logically at each stage of the journey
Align copy across teams to deliver a cohesive, unified customer experience
Mentor and guide junior copywriters
Review, edit, and elevate team output
Establish and enforce copy standards and best practices
Connect messaging across acquisition, retention, and reactivation
Advise marketing leadership and executives on copy and customer-journey strategy
Contribute to funnel structure, messaging strategy, and overall customer experience

Required

Proven background in the health and supplement industry
Experience working with large-scale direct-to-consumer brands (8–9 figures)
Excellent copywriting skills for landing pages, advertorials, listicles, and other customer acquisition pages
Strong email copywriting skills, including new customer acquisition flows and re-engagement and retention campaigns
Deep understanding of the customer journey, including front-end acquisition (organic and paid traffic), customer psychology, and buying behavior
Ability to write high-converting copy for landing pages, listicles, advertorials, product pages, and other acquisition assets
Ability to create messaging that acquires new customers, re-converts existing ones, and increases lifetime value
Ability to maintain consistent, clear messaging across organic content, paid media, email, and retargeting
Ownership and understanding of the full customer lifecycle from first touch to repeat purchase
Ability to ensure messaging progresses logically at each stage of the journey
