Responsibilities
Manage high-volume invoicing, including submitting invoices through customer billing portals and third-party platforms
Research and resolve rejected, disputed, or mismatched invoices (e.g., PO discrepancies, documentation issues)
Support specialized billing scenarios such as milestone-based billing, deposits, and other non-standard invoicing needs
Reconcile billing records and support month-end close activities as needed
Partner with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy, resolve issues, and prevent repeat exceptions
Track billing performance metrics and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Assist with new customer billing setup, ensuring requirements and billing standards are met
Provide reporting and analysis to support decision-making across finance and operations
Escalate complex risks and recurring issues to appropriate stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounting/finance operations
Strong Excel/data skills and comfort working in enterprise financial environments
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Confident communicator with a customer-focused, collaborative mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
Experience with customer invoicing portals and third-party billing platforms
Background supporting complex billing types (milestones, deposits, project-based billing, etc.)
Experience helping improve billing processes, documentation, or controls
