Manager, Multimedia Content & Storytelling

The Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA) is a vendor-neutral, non-profit membership community that connects and represents the worldwide IT channel. The Manager of Multimedia Content and Storytelling is responsible for creating and managing multimedia content across various formats to enhance GTIA’s voice and facilitate effective storytelling.

Responsibilities

Write, edit, and publish high-quality editorial content, including articles and blog posts
Conduct interviews with industry leaders, asking smart follow-up questions that surface meaningful insights
Translate complex ideas, research, and industry topics into clear, engaging narratives
Curate and organize important industry news, partner updates, and channel signals, helping shape GTIA into a trusted channel news platform
Support the use of news feeds, content pipelines, and aggregation tools to ensure the timely flow of relevant information
Identify strong moments and story angles from content and events that can be repurposed for social channels in partnership with marketing
Support podcast and video strategy, including planning, guest prep, interviewing, and light production
Serve as on-mic host or co-host and appear on camera as needed
Support GTIA On Location, short-form video, and interview content
Manage production timelines to ensure consistent publishing
Execute against editorial priorities while managing multiple content streams under tight deadlines
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all content
Partner with marketing, research, events, and community teams to identify story and news opportunities
Support GTIA events with live or near-real-time content capture and publishing
Contribute ideas for new formats, platforms, and audience growth
Work with creative, production, and social teams to ensure brand alignment, smart repurposing, and strong distribution

Required

A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
Experience in journalism, broadcasting, content marketing, media, or editorial roles, ideally within the IT channel or B2B technology
Demonstrated experience writing, interviewing, and producing content across multiple formats
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
Strong writer with excellent editorial judgment and storytelling instincts
Comfortable speaking on a microphone and camera
Ability to ask thoughtful, insightful interview questions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams

Preferred

Familiarity with podcasts, video production workflows, and content publishing platforms is a plus
