Responsibilities
Conduct thorough sales and use tax compliance reviews for various clients
Provide audit support by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with tax authorities
Assist clients in developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies
Research and analyze sales and use tax regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
Consult with clients on tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice on tax matters
Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to sales and use tax compliance and audits
Qualification
Required
BS Accounting
4+ years of experience in SALT, sales and use tax consulting or related roles within public accounting, finance
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
Proven skills in tax planning, research, and client consultation
Experience using CCH/AnswerConnect/Alteryx or other tax research tools
Preferred
CPA preferred
Oil and Gas experience is preferred
