Responsibilities

Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for Division 8 materials and systems
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather information needed for estimating
Utilize Comsense software to generate detailed and precise estimates for commercial door projects
Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is included
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure competitive bids
Monitor project costs and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather additional information for accurate estimating

Required

Proven experience in estimating for Division 8, particularly commercial doors and related systems
Proficient in using Comsense and other estimating software
Strong understanding of construction processes and materials related to Division 8
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in cost estimation
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams and clients
You must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
