Responsibilities

Lead and develop the business development organization, including workforce planning, performance management, and professional growth
Define and execute the global sales and business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets
Leverage executive-level industry relationships to secure new business and strategic partnerships
Oversee account strategies and pipeline management to ensure consistent opportunity flow
Collaborate with executive leadership and operations teams on proposal development and high-value contract negotiations
Provide regular updates to senior management on market trends, sales performance, and growth initiatives
Guide teams in market analysis, account planning, and execution of growth initiatives
Ensure teams are trained, enabled, and resourced to meet performance objectives

Required

Extensive CRO, pharmaceutical, or life sciences services sales leadership experience
Bachelor's degree required
12+ years of relevant industry experience, including executive-level leadership
Proven record of driving revenue growth and closing complex, high-value agreements
Strong strategic, commercial, and industry insight
Deep understanding of drug development, clinical operations, and commercialization
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence
Experience building, coaching, and leading high-performing teams
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
