Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and services
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning
Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer delivering scalable solutions
Advanced proficiency in Java 17+ with strong knowledge of concurrency and multithreading
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework for enterprise applications
Experience with Kafka and Message Queues (MQ) for event-driven architectures
Strong background in Oracle databases, including PL/SQL development
Solid understanding of RESTful API and GraphQL design and implementation
Strong object-oriented design and software engineering fundamentals
Preferred
Experience with Angular for front-end development
Knowledge of Snowflake, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Ruby on Rails
Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Kanban
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Windsurf
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and influence teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Demonstrated ability to deliver significantly higher productivity through deep technical expertise
