Responsibilities
Comfort with a significant support role while also engaging in development opportunities
Working directly with traders and portfolio managers to gather requirements and resolve technical issues
The development to support ratio can range on any day from 20% support to 80% development with some rainy days when it's exactly the opposite i.e. 80% support - 20% development
Providing day-to-day support to the trading desks while ensuring development timelines are being tracked and honored is a crucial part of the role
Additional experience with Oracle, C++, or Python/AI is considered a plus
Qualification
Required
Mid to Senior Developer C# .NET Developer with experience in building, integrating, maintaining and supporting Trading Systems
Ability to context switch, work as single contributor or team player when needed, handle pressure and aggressive agile timelines with the ability to shuffle multiple priorities simultaneously
At least 3-4 years of experience in C# .NET Frameworks
At least 3-4 years of experience in SQL Server Databases/Development
Strong knowledge of systems, architecture and design
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas and engage with end users
Familiarity with the finance domain, including an understanding of various assets and commodities
Knowledge of trading systems relevant to a Front Office developer role
