Mid LevelSaviance is a company seeking a Test Analyst for a 12-month remote contract role. The Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through test planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project specifications and requirements
Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand objectives and acceptance criteria
Create detailed and structured test cases and scripts covering functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Execute manual and automated test cases, identify issues, and document defects
Prepare documentation for features tested
Log, prioritise, and track software defects
Work closely with the Director of Support and developers to ensure timely defect resolution
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve coverage and efficiency
Utilize automation tools such as Ghost Inspector or Selenium
Stay updated on best practices and new testing tools
Work with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Experience with test automation tools — Ghost Inspector and Zoho experience desirable
Strong background in automated testing (essential)
Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing
Good understanding of software development and Agile methodologies
Ability to create and maintain automation test suites
