Responsibilities
Install and commission AMX control systems, video conferencing equipment, distributed audio systems, and digital signage solutions
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications
Conduct thorough testing and quality control checks on installed systems to ensure functionality and performance
Provide technical support during the installation process, troubleshooting any issues that arise
Document installation processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and client communication
Participate in team meetings, providing input on project progress and necessary adjustments
Lead small installation teams on larger projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in A/V installation, specifically with AMX control systems and video conferencing
Strong knowledge of distributed audio systems and digital signage technology
Familiarity with Creston systems is highly desirable
Excellent troubleshooting and technical support skills
Ability to design and implement system designs that meet client needs
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication
Strong documentation skills to maintain records of installations and modifications
Ability to lead teams and ensure quality control throughout installations
Preferred
Project management experience is a plus
Strong networking skills and understanding of DSP programming are advantageous
Experience in equipment calibration and low voltage installations is preferred
