Project Engineering Aide (Systems Engineering)-Entry Level Hourly

Responsibilities

Generate engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics
Establish and attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule and operation issues. Coordinate internal and external events, meetings, and gatherings for the team and program
Update weekly status chart package and report to program management

Required

Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered
Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Eligibility to obtain a security clearance
Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products
Ability to effectively engage, communicate, and interact with technical engineers, upper management, and programs customers

Preferred

Customer‑focused approach with strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with internal/external partners
Experience coordinating technical engineering meetings, setting up conference rooms, working in a classified environment
Strong communicator/Public speaking/presentation experience with Senior Leaders and Government Stakeholders
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience using project‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Word/Excel, etc.)
