Responsibilities
Analyze and standardize manufacturing processes for cooked foods, sauces, and seasoning blends
Drive 5S, SMED, and waste elimination to boost throughput and reliability
Manage projects up to $5MM—from scoping and design to installation and commissioning
Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, and sanitary design principles
Partner with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Finance to deliver measurable improvements
Train teams, develop SOPs, and champion structured daily management systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering field
5+ years in food manufacturing or regulated processing environments
Proven success with Lean methods and managing capital projects
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical decisions into financial impacts
Hands-on problem solver with excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with thermal processing, batching, blending, or RTE systems
Familiarity with WMS/MES tools and structured daily management systems
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
