Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality localization for video game titles across multiple platforms
Manage budgets, ensure timely invoicing and purchase orders, and prepare detailed financial reports
Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and clients, providing clear and timely updates
Facilitate kick-off and post-mortem meetings to refine workflows and improve project outcomes
Oversee the full localization lifecycle, from text to audio to LQA, ensuring cross-service collaboration
Assign and coordinate work among internal teams, external linguists, and language specialists to ensure alignment and consistency
Provide regular status reports, flagging risks and tracking project progress
Ensure that all output meets IP-specific requirements, including tone, terminology, and style
Qualification
Required
Exceptional English communication skills both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
2+ years of experience managing localization projects, ideally in the video game industry with an agency or game publisher
A background working with or for AAA developers or major game studios is an advantage
Familiarity with MTPE workflows is also considered an advantage
Experience with audio projects and/or LQA is a real plus
Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines
Proficiency with localization tools (e.g., memoQ), file formats, and standard industry software
Solid understanding of localization best practices
