Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities for residential development
Negotiate land purchase agreements and manage the acquisition process from start to finish
Coordinate with civil engineering teams to develop site plans and ensure successful land development
Manage the entitlement process, including zoning changes and approvals for subdivision developments
Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in land acquisition
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align land acquisitions with project development strategies
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to land acquisition and development

Required

7+ years of Land Acquisition and Development experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area
A background in Civil Engineering is required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
Proven experience in land acquisition and development, particularly in residential and subdivision projects
Strong understanding of zoning laws, entitlements, and land use regulations

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
