Inside Sales Manager
Suron is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Internal Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing internal sales organization within the financial services and alternative investments space. This role involves managing the internal sales desk, driving sales strategy, and fostering team development in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and supervise a team of internal wholesalers supporting a national external sales force
Drive daily execution, including outbound activity standards, meeting generation, territory support, and sales discipline
Conduct regular coaching sessions, call reviews, and team meetings focused on performance, skill development, and product knowledge
Develop internal wholesalers as future external sales professionals, with a strong emphasis on career progression and readiness
Foster a collaborative, high-energy, and accountable sales culture across multiple offices
Partner closely with senior sales leadership to align desk activity with territory priorities and firm-wide sales goals
Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership in improving sales processes, analytics, and overall organizational effectiveness
Collaborate with external sales, marketing, analytics, operations, and compliance teams to enhance campaigns, messaging, and execution
Provide insights on territory trends, advisor engagement, and sales effectiveness
Help identify new ideas, tools, and workflows to improve productivity and asset growth
Serve as a visible leader within the organization who brings new ideas, challenges the status quo constructively, and helps scale the platform
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses required
Prior experience as a Sales Desk Manager, Head of Internal Sales, or similar leadership role
Strong understanding of the financial intermediary marketplace, including wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, and RIAs
Experience with alternative investments or exposure to complex investment products strongly preferred
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative office environment
Preferred
Early- to mid-career sales leader with demonstrated upward momentum
Experience managing or mentoring internal wholesalers or player-coach style teams
High energy, intellectually curious, and motivated to build and grow alongside a scaling organization
Willing to travel occasionally to support regional offices and team development
