Purchasing Associate

Outova is a company focused on transforming outdoor spaces and is seeking an Entry Level Purchasing Associate to join their team. This role involves supporting the procurement function by assisting with sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating, reviewing, and processing purchase orders
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
Track open purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time receipt
Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP or procurement systems
Support inventory replenishment and coordinate with warehouse or operations teams
Resolve basic discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or deliveries
Assist with vendor setup and documentation as needed
Generate basic purchasing and spending reports
Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED required, Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus
0–2 years of experience in purchasing, administrative, or operations support
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors

Preferred

Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain concepts preferred
