Sr Outside Sales Account Manager - Automation & Factory Solutions

GCG Automation & Factory Solutions is currently seeking a Sr Outside Sales Account Manager to join their team and drive revenue growth with customers in Western Michigan. The role focuses on building long-term relationships with customer accounts, understanding their business goals, and coordinating internal resources to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships at customer accounts with stakeholders and influencers and learn the ins and outs of the customer
Regularly communicate with customers to share GCG’s value propositions and opportunities
Coordinate with other internal stakeholders to service accounts
Coordinate with Application Engineers, CSMs, and CSRs to handle customer issues and requests
Exercise and build extensive account knowledge, including client business performance, future state business plans, and competitor relationships
Understand customer strategies and challenges
Grow and retain business within existing accounts

Qualification

Required

5+ years' in technical outside sales related with a industrial automation solutions
Driver's License with clean driving record
Knowledge of sales principles, tactics, and strategies
High degree of professionalism, dependability, self-direction, and time management
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information and sell products and services in a highly competitive environment
Ability to organize and balance multiple priorities
