VP of Sales
Conexus is a growing SaaS and MedTech company serving customers across entertainment, media, and surgical center markets. They are seeking a Vice President of Sales to own revenue generation, scale the sales organization, and work closely with the executive team on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Own and carry a personal sales quota while leading overall sales performance
Build, lead, and scale the sales organization from an early-stage foundation
Manage and mentor an existing Account Executive (currently based in New York)
Partner with the executive team to define strategic sales initiatives prior to additional hiring
Develop capacity planning models to determine optimal headcount required to meet top-line growth targets
Balance growth with burn-rate discipline, factoring in base salaries and potential guaranteed commissions
Define clear ramp timelines and performance expectations for new Account Executives
Establish repeatable sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline management
Help shape and reinforce a high-performance sales culture aligned with company values
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading sales in Technology, SaaS and/or MedTech environments
Track record of building and scaling sales teams while maintaining personal production
Strong understanding of quota design, ramp periods, and compensation structures
Strategic mindset with the ability to operate hands-on
Comfortable working closely with executive leadership in a growth-stage company
Preferred
Experience selling into healthcare, media, entertainment, or regulated environments is a plus
