Mid LevelCyberCoders is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for automation projects in the packaging industry, with up to 50% travel to client sites for installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for automation projects
Implement and test PLC programs and HMI interfaces
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues at client sites
Create and maintain control system documentation including schematics and BOMs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Travel to client locations for installation, support, and training as needed
Utilize software tools such as EPLAN, PROMIS, and SAP for project management and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in the packaging or automation industry
Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens)
Experience with HMI design and implementation
Familiarity with control panel design and pneumatic systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Experience with design tools such as E3 and Eplan
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
