The Quality Engineer Intern will act as a liaison between manufacturing and customers, ensuring quality and regulatory requirements are met while gaining hands-on experience through mentorship.

Responsibilities
Facilitate resolution of proactive quality initiatives, continuous improvements, preventative actions, mistaking-proofing, etc
Facilitate resolutions of reactive quality initiatives; containment/root-cause/corrective actions, customer issues, etc
Use of statistical analysis tools and methods for problem solving (DMAIC process)
Facilitate quality-related activities associated with customer product introductions within APQP as well as maintaining relations and expectations of current customer base
Monitor processes (through auditing, metrics, etc.) to ensure product health
Qualification
Required
Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Engineering for the entire duration of internship
Preferred
Junior level status
GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills
