Responsibilities

Support day-to-day engineering operations across multiple properties in the region
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures
Monitor and optimize energy management systems and sustainability initiatives
Coordinate emergency response procedures and business continuity planning
Recruit, train, and mentor engineering staff
Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities
Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
Manage staffing levels and resource allocation across the regional portfolio
Serve as primary engineering contact for clients and property management teams
Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise and recommendations
Respond to and resolve complex engineering issues and tenant concerns
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Develop and manage regional engineering budgets and capital expenditure plans
Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems
Oversee major capital projects and system upgrades
Conduct building assessments and recommend improvements
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Ensure all work meets JLL standards and client requirements
Conduct regular property inspections and audits
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems
Implement and monitor safety protocols and training programs
