Responsibilities
Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including drafting and filing necessary legal documents
Advise clients on their rights and obligations under bankruptcy law and develop legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case arguments and strategies
Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with creditors and other parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings
Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings as necessary
Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation
Stay current on developments in bankruptcy law and litigation practices to provide informed legal advice
Qualification
Required
Jurisdiction-specific law degree and admission to the bar
Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on bankruptcy and insolvency law
Proven trial experience, particularly in bankruptcy or related litigation cases
Strong analytical and legal research skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly
Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
