The Friedkin Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer II who will design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization and AI-powered insights solutions. Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
Implement DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for advanced data modeling in Power BI
Use Tableau Prep and Tableau Server for data preparation, automation, and dashboard deployment
Optimize dashboard performance, ensuring fast query execution and refresh rates
Troubleshoot and resolve issues
Support administration of user accounts and permissions for PowerBI and Tableau
Participate in server upgrade testing
Integrate ChatGPT with BI tools to enable natural language-based data exploration
Develop AI-powered chat interfaces that allow users to query dashboards via text and voice
Implement custom GPT-based models for business-specific reporting and analytics insights
Train and fine-tune ChatGPT models to improve accuracy, relevance, and contextual understanding
Integrate ChatGPT APIs with Power BI and Tableau for seamless conversational analytics
Work with OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock for AI model deployment
Leverage Python and SQL to preprocess, clean, and transform data for AI-driven insights
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance in BI reports and AI-driven applications
Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for dashboards and AI-generated insights
Maintain data quality through automated validation and anomaly detection
Work with business leaders, analysts, and AI teams to define KPIs and data-driven goals
Conduct training sessions on self-service BI and AI-powered analytics
Translate business needs into intuitive BI solutions and AI-driven insights

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
2+ years of experience in BI development using Power BI
Strong analytical and technical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on root cause analysis
Experience gathering customer feedback and translating them from functional requirements into tangible solutions

Preferred

Experience with Tableau
Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and AI-driven analytics tools
Strong background in BI development, data engineering, AI-driven analytics, and cloud-based data platforms
Power BI & Tableau: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, LOD expressions, calculated fields, and application configurations
Experience in Generative AI-based data exploration
ChatGPT & AI Integration: Experience with OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, and prompt engineering
ETL and ELT: Strong ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets
Familiarity with LangChain and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for AI-powered BI solutions
Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts, SQL, and data modeling
Data Engineering: Strong SQL, Python, and API development experience
Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS and Databricks
Ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations, customer behavior, or market dynamics
Willingness and ability to stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users
