L&D Program Manager

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Learning & Development Program Manager to join their team. The role involves the tactical development, implementation, execution, and coordination of regional development programs and learning initiatives, while collaborating closely with HR business partners and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and assess training programs aligned to business goals and associate development needs
Establish partnership as a trusted L&D advisor with operational leaders
Collaborate with L&D Program Manager counterpart to ensure unity across the enterprise
Collaborate with Operations and other HR team members to identify trends in associate development needs
Develop detailed shared project plans to monitor and track progress
Support content development and design (on the job training materials, presentations, and e-learning), and facilitate course offerings when needed
Measure learning impact using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Adopt a process-improvement mindset using process documentation to communicate lessons learned
Establish and maintain learning solutions in the learning management system
Co-manage the learning and development budget
Travel between 15-25% required

Required

BA/BS degree in adult learning, organizational development, organizational behavior or related field
5-8 years in Learning & Development, organization development or other related field, preferably in the construction industry
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Familiarity with tools and practices for project management
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and solutions-oriented
Passion for learning, improving, and sharing best practices
Proactive team member with excellent attention to detail and follow through
Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
Travel between 15-25% required

Preferred

Experience with public speaking or facilitation
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Talent development certifications (APTD, CPTD)
