Microelectronics Systems Engineer I (Onsite)

Responsibilities

System development in all systems technical elements of an entire development project. (Capturing system requirements through Validation & Verification)
Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, and development of military technology
Work closely within cross-functional teams
Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
Implement requirements, detailed design, integration, and verification in accordance with system development processes
Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions
Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to write technical material and present to customers and mid-level managers
Be self-directed, able to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives with minimal oversight
