The individual will oversee all warehouse operations for a midsized distribution facility, managing approximately 25 employees and ensuring efficient inventory control, order fulfillment, and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving supplies and equipment
Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate a team of approximately 25 warehouse employees, including pickers, receivers, and support staff
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment to meet customer and delivery requirements
Oversee receiving operations, including verification of incoming shipments, proper documentation, and correct storage of products
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and reporting tools to run operational, inventory, productivity, and performance reports
Analyze reports to identify trends, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and control labor and inventory costs
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, inventory turns, labor productivity, and on-time shipping, and error rates
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations, including proper handling and storage of dental supplies
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities
Coordinate with purchasing, customer service, and logistics teams to resolve inventory, shipping, or order issues
Monitor warehouse equipment, supplies, and layout to support efficient operations
Address employee performance issues, implement corrective actions when necessary, and promote a positive, productive work environment
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service experience and a positive attitude
Proven experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor, preferably in medical and/or dental
Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing teams of 20+ employees
Hands-on knowledge of picking, receiving, inventory control, and shipping processes
Experience running and interpreting warehouse and inventory reports
Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, and SAP
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Comfortable using service software, mobile apps, and basic office tools
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Enjoy partnering with others to accomplish tasks
Extreme level of organization, both professionally and personally
Must possess basic math skills
Must possess basic computer skills
Must pass drug and background tests
Must be able to lift and or move 25-50lbs+ and can frequently bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to use hands, handle, or feel, reach products with hands and arms, talk and listen
Ability to use step stools or balance, kneel or crouch
Required to sit for extended periods of time at desk, using the computer and mouse
