Sales Director
Confidential company is looking for an experienced senior sales executive to lead their growing inside, direct-to-consumer sales team. This role involves managing daily operations, leading a team of over 30 salespeople, and eventually taking full responsibility for the sales organization as part of a succession plan.

Responsibilities
Manage and lead the direct-to-consumer sales team to boost revenue and increase overall profitability. A primary responsibility is ensuring compliance with our sales process and developing product training and sales tools to provide an industry-leading customer experience
Develop sales training tools to enhance the performance of the sales team
Ensure the sales team consistently performs at a high level aligned with the company's overall strategic goals. Lead sales hiring processes to support revenue growth plans. Active involvement in establishing individual and team KPIs and driving accountability to those metrics
Collaborate with the organization to support the sales, inventory, and operations planning process (SIOP)
Provide essential market and competitive insights to the organization to inform our strategic planning
Develop and implement effective pricing plans to maximize profits and grow market share. Collaborate with marketing to design and manage promotional campaigns that drive product adoption and sales
Work with the Senior Leadership Team and marketing department to create effective sales tools, product training resources, and go-to-market strategies
Qualification
Required
must have 8-10+ years of inside and direct-to-consumer sales experience in construction equipment industry
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
10-15+ years of experience in executive sales leadership, along with 8+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer sales in construction equipment industry
Proven track record of profitable sales revenue growth
Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
High proficiency in information systems/platforms such as HubSpot, as well as Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of NetSuite and Global Shop is a plus
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at the same time
