Director/Executive5V Tech is a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company building enterprise-grade ML and GenAI systems. They are seeking a Head of AI Platform to lead and manage the AI platform that supports model training, deployment, and operational reliability in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and grow a small, high-impact AI Platform / MLOps team, setting clear technical direction and standards
Take ownership of the core AI platform, covering model training, deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability
Define how machine learning and GenAI systems are run in production, balancing speed, cost, scalability, and compliance
Guide architectural decisions across ML, infrastructure, and product teams
Work closely with applied ML and product leaders to ensure the platform enables rapid experimentation and safe deployment
Establish best practices around observability, evaluation, and platform quality
Qualification
Required
Strong background building and operating distributed or platform-level systems
Proven experience leading ML platform, MLOps, or AI infrastructure teams
Hands-on understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, and Kubernetes
Experience supporting model training and serving at scale, including GPU-based workloads
Familiarity with LLM-powered systems, agent frameworks, or modern GenAI tooling
Comfortable operating in regulated or reliability-critical environments
