Legal Internship in State Bar Court
The State Bar of California is looking for a current law student to fill a Legal Internship position in their Review and Hearing Departments in Los Angeles. This internship offers hands-on experience in the appellate adjudication and trial adjudication of cases within California's attorney disciplinary and regulatory system.

Responsibilities
Research various areas of procedural and substantive law
Assist review judges in the development of opinions, including legal research involving the California Rules of Professional Conduct, the State Bar Act, and the California Rules of Court
Draft proposed orders in various matters
Working with the authoring judge, assist in drafting opinions for disciplinary and regulatory matters on review
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in, or completion of, a professional responsibility course at the time of the internship
Excellent research and writing ability
Commitment to the State Bar's values of clarity, excellence, respect, and a growth mindset
Candidate must reside in California and be able to report to the Los Angeles office once a week
