Responsibilities
Possess and use subject matter expertise in USG contracting
General understanding of IDIQ Contracting, Cost Type Contracting, and Fixed Price Contracting
Support the ESSM Production team by reviewing and executing contractual documents, within delegation limits
Interface with cross functional partners to support program execution
Interpret existing contract documents to answer Program Manager and Program Cross Functional questions, and complete contracting taskings
Review Request for Proposals to determine applicability against current or prior agreements; scope requirements; production impacts
Interpret company proposal data to support review of risks and opportunities; develop submittal packages; submit proposals to external customers; answer customer questions related to proposals in conjunction with program team input; respond to customer requests related to proposals and negotiate price where applicable and appropriate with support from Contracts Leadership
Investigate and resolve contractual matters by applying critical thinking, gathering detailed information, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders while applying innovative contracting approaches
Willingness to partner with Raytheon Global Trade to ensure import/export compliance within the contractual framework
Some travel, both domestic and international, is anticipated, up to 20%
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
Experience working in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Estimating/Pricing, Operations and / or Finance
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
Preferred
Direct engagement with external customers for contracts support and direct contracts negotiations
Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS)
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships based on respect and trust
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Active transferable Secret clearance
