Responsibilities
Conduct patient intake procedures, including obtaining medical history and vital signs
Administer medications as directed by providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
Support medical coding and documentation standards, including ICD coding
Deliver excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns
Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams in both inpatient and outpatient environments
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Qualification
Required
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Proficiency with EHR systems for patient documentation
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
